Absent Parents Following Divorce
This has to be my shortest blog ever but I really wanted to pass this item onto you. There was an article in todays Sun newspaper and it really touched me. Have a read – http://bit.ly/22UvGr. Its about divorce and the impact on children. The article contains four real-life case studies of men and women who have either been through divorce themselves or experienced it when their parents divorced. Each person describes the impact of the divorce on their children and on themselves. The case studies really bring home to me the reality of the destruction of the family unit and the fact that many children have very little contact or no contact at all with their absent parent. I have been looking around http://www.thekidscoach.org.uk and really am impressed by the terrific content here. I work the nightshift at my job and it is boring. I’ve been coming here for the past couple nights and reading. I just needed to let you know that I’ve been enjoying what I have seen and I look ahead to reading more.
